First post on this blog. I would like to make this a safe and innovative way to keep all of our family in touch with our little family. I'll try to update it often and add pictures as they come.
Noah just turned 4 on the 10th. He had so much fun celebrating his birthday all around town. Jake talked to him on the xbox and he said he was going to be in town around February. He asked Noah what he wanted to do when he got here and Noah said "Celebrate my birthday!" What a smart and silly little boy. Chris and I got him the Leapster 2 videogame player. Noah loves it! He rarely puts it down and it entertains him for hours! For Christmas he got a couple new games that go with it, so now he has variety. The only bad part of this game player is that he doesn't pay attention to anyone/anything else and he doesn't listen at all. We usually have to take it out of his hands and repeat ourselves a couple of times to make sure he heard us. I'm happy to know that we were able to get him a fun and educational toy that he enjoys playing.
We got him Candyland for Christmas. We played it last night as a family and Noah kept trying to cheat! Haha. It's his first time playing and he's already cheating. Hahaha this kid. He cracks me up! We were initially going to play just me, Chris, and Noah. Chris wanted to put Haylie to bed before we played because she had been naughty all day and needed to rest. But right after he said that Haylie said "Noah bad too!" Chris said that she had a point, so he let her stay up and play. Haha. Silly little lady.
Haylie turned 2 on the 13th of November. She had so much fun on her birthday that she kept insisting that her birthday was everyday. For Christmas she got a cabage patch doll and a stroller/playpen/etc. set for the baby. It's so funny to see her zoom around the house at full speed with the baby teetering in the stroller. If you're in her way she'll say "beep! beep!" and if you don't move within a couple of seconds you are going to get plowed into.
I also celebrated a birthday at the end of November. I turned 24. Chris, the kids, Kathy, and Jessie surprised me with some beautiful potted orchids, dinner, and a clean baby's room. It was very unexpected and wonderful!
I couldn't find our camera before the holidays, so unfortunately I don't have and Christmas or birthday pictures to post and share. If any of the family posts them online I'll be sure to add them here. I will however, upload our fall photos we took at the Little Old Schoolhouse in Oak Glen.
